Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking an Enforcement Analyst focused on Bio Harms to protect against misuse of AI systems. You will enforce our Usage Policy, investigate violations, and own enforcement monitoring workflows across bio-harms, working with Policy, Threat Intelligence, Data Science and Engineering to scale safeguards.

This role requires understanding dual-use biology, rapid decision-making under pressure, and strong written communication to translate bio concepts for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform-scale Trust & Safety, content moderation, or policy enforcement.
• Experience using AI tools to develop data dashboards for metrics collection.
• Ability to analyze complex, ambiguous situations and make well-reasoned decisions under time pressure.
• Proactive, self-directed with trend spotting and improvements.
• Clear written communication for diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in bio-related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Usage Policies focusing on bio risks and misuse of AI.
• Own enforcement monitoring workflows for the bio-harms area.
• Analyze platform activity for biological and related threats.
• Design automated enforcement systems and scalable review workflows.
• Investigate potential violations and document evidence.
• Surface trends and improve detection methods.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science to optimize models.
• Coordinate with Policy and Threat Intelligence on risk assessment.
• Provide enforcement-driven feedback on policy gaps and handle escalations.
