Does not perform hypothesis-based research or analysis on the biospecimens – serves as a supporting role to facilitate research.**Job Description:****Essential Functions:*** Collects, processes, and stores biological specimens according to established protocols and standard operating procedures.* Maintains accurate records of specimen collection, processing, and storage.* Ensures that specimens are properly labeled and tracked throughout the collection and storage process.* Performs quality control checks on specimens to ensure that they meet established standards.* Maintains laboratory equipment and supplies, and orders new supplies as needed.* Communicates with other laboratory staff and researchers to ensure that specimens are collected and processed in a timely and efficient manner. **Education Requirement:*** Bachelor's of Science or equivalent certification and experience, required.* Coursework in anatomy, physiology, statistics, and relevant research methods, preferred. **Licensure Requirement:**(not specified) **Certifications:**(not specified) **Skills:*** Organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer experience.* Effective oral and written communication skills.
