Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Biorepository Coordinator I to support the Tissue Core Total Cancer Care laboratory. This onsite, full-time role involves biospecimen preservation, processing, distribution, and careful inventory stewardship within a busy core facility.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED with laboratory experience or an Associate/BS in Biological Science, plus knowledge of lab procedures and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years laboratory experience
• Associate Degree in Biological Science or related field with 1 year laboratory experience
• BS Degree in Biological Science or related field with 0 years experience
• Proficient use of Microsoft applications

Responsibilities

• Biospecimen Preservation, Processing, and Distribution
• Stewardship and maintenance of the general specimen library
• Specimen labeling, handling, and packaging for shipment
• Documentation and inventory management in inventory system application
