• Manage requests and provide support for Tissue Core Total Cancer Care laboratory projects.
• Preserve, process, and distribute biospecimens.
• Maintain the general specimen library and stewardship.
• Label, handle, and package specimens for shipment.
• Document and manage inventory in the inventory system.

Attends in-house courses, seminars, and workshops, related to core activities and cancer biology.Responsibilities:The Biorepository Coordinator I will be responsible for request management and support for the Tissue Core Total Cancer Care laboratory projects in the following ways:Biospecimen Preservation, Processing, and DistributionStewardship and maintenance of the general specimen librarySpecimen labeling, handling, and packaging for shipmentDocumentation and inventory management in inventory system applicationCredentials & Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED and 3 years laboratory experience in academic, industry, clinical, research, or veterinary lab is required (OR) Associate Degree in Biological Science or related field and 1 year laboratory experience in academic, industry, clinical, research, or veterinary lab is required (OR) BS Degree in Biological Science or related field + 0 years experience.Proficient use of Microsoft applications is necessary.Moffitt Team Members are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, Retirement, Parental Leave and more.
