Job summary

Manus is seeking a Fermentation Engineer in Augusta, Georgia, to drive fermentation science and development within our process development team. This role aims to bring new bioprocesses through our R&D pipeline and lead the optimization of microbial fermentation processes.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD or equivalent experience in fermentation sciences, a strong background in fermentation process development, and excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications

• PhD, MS, or BS in relevant field with substantial experience.
• Expertise in bench and pilot scale fermentation.
• Proven analytical skills with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize fermentation processes from lab to commercial scale.
• Set up and monitor bioreactors, ensuring successful runs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate results effectively.
