Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Bioprocess Applications Scientist to support large-scale chromatography for biologics at our Marlborough, MA site. This on-site role focuses on training, troubleshooting, and technical support across Cytiva’s chromatography portfolio.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, field service, and Bioprocess R&D to advance Cytiva chromatography technologies during pre- and post-sales activities, driving better outcomes for customers and patients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale cGMP purification of biologics (monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, nucleic acids, viral vectors).
• Degree in life sciences with biochemistry/molecular biology/analytical methods.
• Strong chromatography theory and practice background; familiarity with Cytiva product portfolio is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale chromatography equipment including ÄKTA and UNICORN software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Cytiva’s large-scale chromatography applications laboratory in Marlborough, MA.
• Provide technical support, training, and troubleshooting for chromatography technologies used in large-scale purification of biologics.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, field service, R&D, and other teams to position Cytiva chromatography technologies during pre-/post-sales activities.

Education

Life sciences degree with coursework in biochemistry, molecular biology, and analytical methods
