Job summary

Cytiva in Marlborough, MA seeks a Bioprocess Applications Scientist to lead the lab operations and deliver training on Cytiva chromatography products for large-scale purification of biologics. You will troubleshoot, support customers, and partner with sales, service and R&D to translate technical applications into value.

The role requires 5+ years in biologics purification, a life sciences degree with relevant coursework, and hands-on experience with ÄKTA systems and UNICORN software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale cGMP purification of biologics.
• Degree in life sciences with biochemistry/molecular biology coursework.
• Strong chromatography theory, column packing, resin/membrane tech, process development and scale-up.
• Experience with Cytiva chromatography portfolio and hands-on large-scale equipment.
• Familiarity with ÄKTA, Chromatflow, Axichrom and UNICORN software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Cytiva’s large-scale chromatography applications laboratory in Marlborough, MA.
• Provide training, troubleshooting, and technical support for chromatography technologies in pre- and post-sales contexts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, field service, R&D and other teams to position Cytiva chromatography solutions.
