Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Children’s Heart Institute, within CiCHD, seeks a biomedical postdoc to design and develop a bioprinted in vitro model of FALD liver fibrosis. The project integrates hepatocytes, endothelial and stellate cells, under Fontan-like flow to study pathophysiology and test interventions.

The candidate will perform experiments, analyze data, and contribute to publications while mentoring junior staff, with emphasis on immunostaining and confocal microscopy.

Qualifications

• Doctoral/Terminal Degree required.
• Experience with stem cell culture and 3D bioprinting.
• Proficiency in immunostaining and confocal microscopy.
