Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Scientist 3 for Biophysical and Materials Analytical Characterization to join a long-term, full-time assignment onsite at a client site in West Point, PA. Qualifications

• BS in chemistry/biology with 3–5 years or MS with 1–2 years experience.
• Technical problem solving and ability to communicate scientific concepts.
• Collaborator with ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a laboratory environment and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication for data review.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and MS Outlook.
• High compliance with documentation practices and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete vaccine-related testing and document composition.
• Maintain a safe lab and collaborate to upkeep instruments.
• Ensure lab cleanliness and safety-first mindset.
• Support scientists developing vaccines.
• Prepare samples and document procedures.
• Analyze samples for particle size using DLS/SLS/MFI and flow cytometry.
• Monitor and order lab supplies and enable sample shipments.
