Job summary

Invetech is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in San Diego, California. The role involves developing, optimizing, and validating manufacturing processes for single-use assemblies, ensuring a smooth transfer to GMP manufacturing.

Qualified candidates will have over 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within biopharma or biotech sectors and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 along with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering within biopharma, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Proven experience working in cleanroom, sterile and GMP regulated environments.
• Strong hands-on capability across process development, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements (FDA/CGMP); validation experience (IQ/OQ/PQ) highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and validate manufacturing processes for single-use assemblies.
• Support installation, qualification, and lifecycle maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Oversee cleanroom operations, including compliance monitoring and operator training.
• Lead or support pre-production and early-stage builds.
