Job summary

Alphanumeric Systems Inc. is seeking Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Associates to work on site in Rockville, MD, with an 18‑month contract and potential for conversion to full‑time employment. Training and 12‑hour rotating shifts are included, with Day/Night options and weekend coverage.

Candidates with 0–1 year of related pharma/manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply, and a high school diploma is required. Education in biological/chemical sciences is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of related pharmaceutical/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and document work accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to read/write/speak English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts could be required.
• Preferred: degree in biological/chemical sciences or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, sterilize, batch, and deliver media and solutions for cell culture and purification.
• Set up, operate, clean, and break down manufacturing equipment.
• Perform sampling and use instruments to evaluate cell culture and product characteristics.
• Monitor processes, elevate potential issues, and ensure safety and quality.
• Follow SOPs, batch records, and logbooks with rigorous documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in line with data integrity requirements.
