Biopharm Manufacturing Associate (Level 1) - Contract - Rockville, MD

Alphanumeric is hiring a BIOPHARM ASSOCIATE 1 in Rockville, MD for a 1-year W8 contract with our client committed to advancing medical and pharmaceutical innovations.

The pay rate is up to $21.50 USD/hour. Eligibility to work in the USA is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, sterilize, batch, pasteurize, filter, and deliver media and solutions for cell culture and purification.
  • Set up, operate, clean, and dismantle process equipment.
  • Sample and analyze cell culture and product concentrations using analytical instruments; operate filter integrity devices.
  • Monitor processes and equipment, identify issues proactively, and escalate as needed.
  • Set up processing equipment with CIP skids for cleaning and sterilization.
  • Follow SOPs, protocols, and batch records, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
  • Adhere to safety policies, actively participate in safety practices.
  • Communicate effectively in various situations.
General Knowledge Areas
  • Standard ERP processes in M-ERP following global/local procedures.
  • GSK Production System (GPS) and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Automation and digital platforms.
  • Microsoft Office applications.
Education & Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; training or experience is acceptable.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document accurately.
  • Work shifts covering 24/7 operations.
