Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Biometrics Optimization Lead to guide end-to-end delivery of Biometrics projects and maintain governance documentation. You will lead SOPs, develop training materials, and manage certifications within the LMS, while mentoring a matrix team and aligning with Finance and leadership.

You will drive process improvements, prepare governance dashboards, and collaborate with global locations to ensure compliant, efficient biometrics operations across a range of studies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in the science/health care field; extensive experience in an operational clinical trials environment.
• Experience driving end-to-end project governance across multiple studies and Biometrics functions.
• Monitoring project timelines, milestones, risks and action plans to ensure delivery.
• Preparing executive dashboards and governance reports for leadership visibility.
• Experience in a Contract Research Organization or pharmaceutical/biotech company preferred.
• Ability to lead a matrix team and manage multiple tasks in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned Biometrics Optimization projects, enabling end-to-end delivery.
• Develop, review and refine Biometrics SOPs, work instructions, and templates.
• Develop training materials and oversee certification management within the LMS.
• Mentor Biometrics Optimization staff and manage line reporting responsibilities.
• Support continuous improvement and communication of optimization plans across the company.
• Prepare information for meetings and senior leadership reviews.
