Biometric Screener (Wellness Worker) - North Central Region

Labcorp is a leading provider of biometric testing services, population health, and comprehensive workforce wellness strategies. These services are performed by a network of Labcorp personnel located throughout the country.

Summary
Labcorp is seeking medical professionals to provide testing services at events. Once hired, staff can assign themselves to events in their area using our scheduling system. We also provide pre-event training on LES protocols. Testing services include biometric screenings, COVID-19 PCR testing, COVID-19 point of care antigen testing, and temperature checks. Staff are responsible for event setup, execution, breakdown, and delivering excellent customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Conduct participant biometric screenings, including fingerstick blood collection, blood pressure, BMI, and body fat analysis.
2. Perform COVID-19 PCR testing, COVID-19 point of care antigen testing, and temperature checks.
3. Ensure accurate capture of participant information and screening results.
4. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining participant privacy.
5. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Medical credentials are strongly preferred (CNA, MA, Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, etc.). Certification or license requirements vary by state.
2. Minimum of 1-year healthcare experience.
3. Proficiency in fingerstick blood collection and blood pressure measurement.
4. Experience with Cholestech LDX is preferred.
5. Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
6. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Basic tablet and computer skills.
8. Reliable transportation.
9. Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.
10. Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 15 to 30 pounds.

Pay Range

$18 - $21 per hour

Employees working 20+ hours/week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Part-time employees working less than 20 hours can participate in the 401(k) plan.

Dress Code

Royal or navy blue scrubs only.

This is a per diem role.
