eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, is seeking Biometric Health Screeners to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. These are as-needed, event-based roles performing biometric screenings at local companies, with morning availability and competitive pay.

Candidates should have strong customer service, blood-draw experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided; you’ll travel to screening events and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Current national Phlebotomy certification or equivalent.
• Prior venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform biometric tests (height, weight, BP, BMI) and record results.
• Collect blood samples via fingerstick or venipuncture in a fast-paced setting.
• Prepare specimens for storage and transport to events.
• Set up and break down portable biometric stations.
• Transport supplies to events and maintain logs per policy.
• Maintain morning weekday availability for event-based work.

About the role:

These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform biometric health screenings for the employees of the companies.

What would make you successful in this role?

Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy and excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
• Blood testing including fingerstick and / or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
• Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
• Set up and break down portable blood draw / biometric station(s)
• May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
• Maintains the logs and records for all Laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
• Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
• May require other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Availability

• Have completed a minimum of 200 successful venipunctures within the last year, preferably within in the last 6 months and/or 100 fingersticks performed in the last year
• Able to use a manual blood pressure cuff with no assistance
• Must be available to work a PRN, event-driven position, mainly during the weekday mornings

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
• Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
• Active state specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA WA, and LA

• Knowledge and skills necessary to collect blood samples from patients.
• Ability to work independently, in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with
• safety and organizational policies and procedures
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
