Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted care across facilities. You will guide clinicians on safe equipment use and maintain rigorous documentation and inventory controls.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in clinical engineering, strong electronics skills, and an associate degree or TRIMEDX certification. Travel may be required; CBET preferred, and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
• Strong technical skills (systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, error code interpretation).
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification).
• CBET Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment—keeping care uninterrupted.
• Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it.
• Guide clinicians on safe, effective equipment use.
• Strengthen operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and smart inventory control.
