SUMMARY:
The Biomedical Technician I plays a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of medical devices. This position involves testing, repairs, preventive maintenance, and evaluating medical devices to ensure they meet performance standards. The Biomedical Technician I is responsible for accurately documenting all service actions into the company CMMS (computerized maintenance management system), updating device status and identification in company records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures.
