Agiliti invites applications for a Biomedical Technician I position based in Richmond District. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology, or CBET, with basic computer skills and a valid driver's license. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering or biomedical equipment technology.
• Equivalent military training accepted or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices.
• Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on equipment features and functionality.
