Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician to diagnose and repair basic biomedical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and conduct safety/environmental inspections. The role emphasizes strong customer communication and reliable, independent schedule management while ensuring satisfaction across accounts in the Savannah area.

Candidates should have AS/BS or equivalent, or HS diploma with relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Education: AS/BS, military education, certificate program, current student within 12 months of completion, OR HS diploma/GED with 6 months service experience servicing electronic, IT or mechanical equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and electro-mechanical devices.
• Strong customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs.

• Work as part of a local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.
• Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries as scheduled.
• Manage schedule, travel, tools, and learning activities with increasing independence over the program.

Requirements

• AS, BS degree, military education, certificate program, current student with less than 12 months from completion OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 months experience servicing electronic, IT or mechanical equipment.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Experience in customer facing role(s).
• Knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
• Strong customer communication skills.
