Job summary

Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Biomedical Technician to join the Plant Operations team. You will diagnose, repair, calibrate, maintain, and modify complex electronic medical equipment, including anesthesia and surgery devices, ensuring regulatory compliance and thorough documentation.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Medical Equipment Technology, and CBMET certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Medical Equipment Technology is preferred, or equivalent training.
• CBMET certification is preferred.
• One to two years healthcare experience preferred.

Kansas Medical Center is a fully physician owned 58 bed hospital offering a wide array of specialties for both inpatient and outpatient needs.
