***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. A biomedical services manager manages the operations of biomedical equipment, including maintenance, repairs, and safety testing, ensuring equipment is used safely and correctly.
  2. Must have additional training and experience repairing CT scanners and similar sophisticated equipment.
  3. Must maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  4. The Biomedical Equipment Technician Manager may need to work near patients and must avoid disturbing them.
  5. Document trouble reports, work performed, and system or configuration changes.
  6. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and stay updated on new developments, policies, and efforts.
  7. Understand and practice the principles of the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights for patients.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Diploma, certificate, or associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Engineering; U.S. Military Biomedical Equipment Technician certification (4A2X1, 68A, or HM-8478) also acceptable.
  • Experience repairing CT scanners and similar sophisticated equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, maintaining professionalism.
  • Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and MS Office.
  • Flexibility to adapt to sudden changes, including potential shift changes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for timely inquiries and responses.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment.
  • Prolonged sitting and standing may be required.
