Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of college with course work emphasizing laboratory science; OR one year’s experience performing routine laboratory work, or equivalent.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Responsibilities

• Set up, organize, and operate the research laboratory; maintain supplies and organize stock.
• Support data collection, organization, quality control, and preparation of figures and summaries of research findings.
• Assist with animal research activities under supervision and required training and approvals.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and keep lab notebooks and records.
