Job summary

Axle is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join the NIH/NIAID team in Hamilton, MT. The role supports daily operations, maintains lab glassware, and ensures compliance with QA/QC standards.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience in a fast-paced lab environment, with responsibilities including equipment preparation and daily administrative tasks across glassware processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Ability to order, maintain and sterilize lab supplies.

Responsibilities

• Segregate, clean, process and return items to shelves.
• Order and stock standard laboratory glassware and supplies.
• Clean and sterilize glassware, plasticware and instruments.
• Prepare instruments, linens and lab equipment for use.
• Perform routine QA/QC tests and document results.
