Job summary

AAMI is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist-Information Systems to troubleshoot and maintain complex biomedical networks and databases. The role includes lifecycle management of medical devices, imaging, life support, dialysis, and monitoring systems, with responsibility for CMMS documentation and recalls.

Qualifications

• BS/AS in biomedical tech or related field preferred.
• Experience with HL7/DICOM standards advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety standards (TJC, NFPA, FDA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and maintains computerized biomedical networks and databases.
• Manages lifecycle of medical devices and systems (imaging, life support, dialysis, monitoring).
• Implements new technologies including diagnostic modalities and virtual data centers.
• Maintains CMMS documentation and conducts recalls/safety alerts within timelines.
• Leads projects for biomedical information systems installation or upgrades.
