Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
• MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Informatics, or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a software development position; familiarity with API design (RESTful or similar).
• Familiar with data management and data analysis software and tools; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create novel software and tools that meet research needs.
• Work in an interdisciplinary team of informaticists, software developers, statisticians, and researchers during software development.
• Develop software packages for data management, analysis, and data visualization; implement data collection workflows.
• Data management related to research projects; assist with data governance and reporting.
• Contribute to scientific reports, conference papers and journal articles.
