Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II for Channel Services to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex clinical equipment with minimal supervision in Baltimore, MD.

The role requires travel to multiple client hospital sites (majority 75%) and work remote from home (25%) with a company car provided. Comprehensive benefits accompany the position, along with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Valid driver’s license required; travel up to 75%.
• Strong computer skills, including error codes, defragmenting drives and networking concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP).
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex biomedical equipment.
• Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns.
• Work with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned.
