Job summary

Mount Nittany Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform electrical safety testing, preventive maintenance, performance verification, repair, and installation of medical equipment across hospital facilities.

The role requires an associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field, and ideally two years of experience with Physiological Monitoring Systems and Radiological equipment. Knowledge of CMMS and test equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field.
• Two years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing medical/electrical equipment preferred.
• Experience with electrical safety inspections and preventive maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical safety testing, preventive maintenance, and performance verification of medical equipment.
• Repair and installation of clinical devices and hospital systems as part of the Biomedical Engineering team.
• Assist in documenting inspections and compliance with guidelines.
