Job summary

Carter BloodCare in Bedford, TX is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to ensure that collection's equipment is available and in good working condition for daily use. The BET maintains and repairs a wide range of equipment including medical laboratory and industrial devices.

The BET will document maintenance activities, manage equipment files, and may train new staff. Overtime and potential float to other areas are required; regular full-time attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, record management, and equipment repairs
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all collection equipment is available for use and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain and repair a wide range of equipment, including medical laboratory and industrial equipment.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and timely and assist in controlling costs.
