Trinity Health is seeking a Bio-Medical Equipment Technician to perform planned maintenance, safety testing, repairs and calibration on medical devices across clinical areas.

The role requires an associate degree in medical electronics or related field, 3–5 years of experience, and knowledge of OSHA/NFPA/FDA regulations. You will document work, train staff, and provide on-call support.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent in medical electronics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance of medical devices or clinical equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission and FDA regulations.
• Basic anatomy/physiology knowledge and medical terminology.
• Ability to operate test equipment and input data accurately.

Aufgaben

• Performs planned maintenance procedures on diverse clinical equipment.
• Diagnoses problems using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic principles.
• Documents maintenance results and parts requests per policy.
• Interacts with clinical staff to minimize disruption and resolve issues.
• Provides on-call service coverage and training to CE staff when assigned.
