Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 credits in electronics/biomedical equipment technology with 1 year of related experience
• High school diploma and 3 years of related experience; or equivalent training and experience. Note: credential equivalency accepted.

Responsibilities

• Tests, installs, maintains and repairs biomedical equipment such as hemodialysis machines, infusion pumps, monitors, and related devices.
• Analyzes schematics and wiring diagrams to locate malfunctions in computer-based equipment.
• Performs calibration of electronic components and parts for monitor systems and equipment.
• Assembles purchased monitor and electronic devices and tests new equipment for accuracy.
• Documents inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs; maintains inventory and test equipment.
