St. Luke's Health System seeks a BMET-2 to inspect, calibrate, repair, and maintain a range of moderately advanced medical equipment including monitors, defibrillators, EKGs, and centrifuges.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years experience and an associates degree or DOD certification, or equivalent experience. Under limited supervision, you will coordinate with HTM/Clinical Engineering on projects, perform inspections, and document maintenance with attention to safety and regulatory
Under limited supervision, the Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) 2 performs technical tasks including inspecting, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining moderately advanced (surgical, rapid infuser/blood warmers, patient monitors, defibrillators, EKGs, and centrifuges) medical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments, including previous modalities specified as a BMET 1.
