Responsibilities

• Evaluate and install complex medical equipment and systems.
• Advise on projects involving installation, service and repair of highly complex medical equipment and systems.
• Consult with clinical staff on the purchase of new medical equipment and modifications to meet special needs.
• Inspect, operate, and test medical equipment to verify compliance with government specifications after purchase.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks on medical patient care equipment such as x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, and monitoring systems.
• Operate Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment to support troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment.
