Job summary

HonorHealth Shea Medical Center is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment at the board/module level under supervision.

The role requires a Certificate or Associate degree in Biomedical or Electronic Engineering and 3 years of related experience, with a Driver's License. Monday–Friday, day shift at Shea Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related training.
• 3 years related experience required; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and calibrates clinical equipment at a component level. Inspects incoming equipment for compliance with codes and manufacturer recommendations.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections per regulatory standards.
• Repairs patient care equipment and PCs to board/module level, reads schematics, and troubleshoots using test equipment.
• Maintains communication with customers, coordinates service and device investigations as needed, and participates in on-call rotation.
