The Miriam Hospital seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to clean and prepare equipment for repair and inspection, perform safety inspections, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on general medical devices, and maintain maintenance records. You will determine repair feasibility and coordinate vendor services as needed.

This role involves emergency repairs on patient-connected systems and requires independent judgment and strong communication skills within a healthcare setting.

Competenze

• Associate degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical technology or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read electro-mechanical diagrams and service manuals.
• Experience using MS Office and database records.
• Ability to diagnose and repair biomedical equipment under supervision.

• Clean and prepare equipment for repair and inspection.
