Job summary

Qualifications

• CBET certification preferred or equivalent.
• Graduate of electronics training program or an Associate’s degree in Electronics.
• Two years’ electronics and mechanical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repair of medical equipment.
• Tests incoming medical device equipment to ensure it meets specifications and regulations.
• Documents findings in a timely manner.
• Orders spare and replacement parts to minimize downtime.
• Provides on-call service and support for Kaweah Health campuses.
• Provides training to Clinical, Technical, and Nursing staff on device use.
• Assists with cost reduction and service improvements for the Medical Equipment Management Program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
