Overview

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist, specializing in Sterilizers, to support healthcare facilities from Philadelphia to Maine and the surrounding regions. This role functions as a Subject Matter Expert in sterilizer systems, while also bringing advanced expertise in one or more high-end healthcare technology modalities.

The specialist will serve as a technical leader within the region, operating independently with minimal supervision, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced clinical equipment inventories. This position requires strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the regional SME and modality expert for sterilizer systems, ensuring peak performance and adherence to manufacturer and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilizers and other advanced clinical equipment across multiple facilities.
  • Provide technical expertise in related equipment areas, including high-end biomedical devices, capital planning, and device networking/integration.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to develop maintenance strategies that support clinical and operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, records, and reports.
