Job summary

TriMedx seeks a Biomedical Technician II to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify complex medical equipment with minimal supervision. The role supports clinicians and helps develop specifications for new equipment.

You will uphold TriMedx core values, maintain inventory, and collaborate with service partners. On-site position spanning regulatory compliance and customer relations based in Wichita, KS.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required. This requirement will be waived if the applicant has TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent biomedical certification.
• Technical Certification (CBET) strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
• Travel may be required based on customer or business needs

Responsibilities

• Perform installed, inspected, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrations, and verifications of complex biomedical equipment
• Inform supervisors of repair status and any customer concerns
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians to ensure proper service
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education
• Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned
• Adhere to regulatory compliance and documentation requirements
