Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read color codes on wiring and electrical components.
• Ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions; keep neat and accurate records.
• A valid Driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, biomedical and medical staff, and the general public.
• Must be willing to be multi-task trained; travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization may be required.
• Basic knowledge of email, database management, spreadsheet, and word processor applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and calibrate a diverse range of biomedical equipment.
• Inspect and provide preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Repair or replace parts to ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs and CMMS entries.
• Provide technical assistance and instruction to personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
