Qualifications

  • Associate degree minimum; Bachelor's in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of diversified experience in medical electronics or related training.
  • Experience with biomedical devices, physiological measurements, wearable technologies, or related instrumentation preferred.
  • Familiarity with human-subject research, data collection, or laboratory environments preferred.
  • Experience with basic data processing or computational tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and standardized procedures using wearable sensors and physiological monitoring equipment.
  • Prepare wearable devices and research materials for experimental use.
  • Assist with laboratory-based and human-subject procedures, including device setup and data collection.
  • Download, transfer, organize, and review data from wearables and study devices; assist with quality control.
  • Assist in analysis and preparation of datasets, figures, tables, and publications.
  • Maintain research equipment and study kits, track device assignment and data transfer.
  • Maintain laboratory environment and assist with inventory and supplies.
  • Provide basic logistical and procedural support for research activities under supervision.
  • Assist with new procedures and devices and perform other related duties.
  • Other duties as assigned
