Job summary

Medpace is seeking Biomedical Engineering-minded individuals for the CRA role in Cincinnati, Ohio. No prior research experience required as Medpace provides comprehensive training through the PACE training program.

The position is office based in Cincinnati with opportunities to travel across the United States. Responsibilities include monitoring visits, regulatory review, and collaboration with site staff, physicians, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health or science field; Biomedical Engineering preferred.
• Ability to travel 60-70% nationwide.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive to monitoring sites.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare-related work experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and efficient in time management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits at research sites in compliance with the approved protocol.
• Communicate with site staff and physicians and their staff.
• Verify investigator qualifications, training and resources, including facilities, laboratories, equipment, and staff.
• Verify documentation and data quality per SOPs, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• On-site and remote monitoring with a risk-based approach through the CTMS to identify deviations and corrective actions.
• Verify investigator eligibility.
• Regulatory document review.
• Device/investigational product accountability and inventory.
• Assess patient recruitment and retention and suggest improvements.
• Prepare monitoring reports and follow-up letters with findings.
