Job summary

Our client in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer – Electro-Mechanical to design, test and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems. You will develop test methods, test beds and performance evaluation procedures.

Required: a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, Software, or related Engineering and 4+ years of hands-on testing, data analysis and Python. FDA/FAA-regulated experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in electro-mechanical systems, testing or product development.
• Hands-on testing experience and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems and devices.
• Develop test methods, test beds, testing plans, and protocols.
• Conduct DOE, sensor testing, digital output analysis, and performance evaluation.
• Analyze test data using Python and other analytical tools.
• Participate in design reviews, reliability testing, and system integration activities.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and system issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Document defects, track lifecycle, and communicate findings to partners.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and engineering documentation.
• Support development of manufacturing processes and engineering solutions.
