CFD Research supports customer R&D activities related to technology development and integration. This role will provide program and project management for multi-disciplinary biomedical and biotechnology teams focused on a range of human performance aspects including infectious disease, musculoskeletal injury, and traumatic brain injury.
The position will have responsibility for planning, tracking, and execution of complex tasking within technical, schedule, and budget constraints. Projects will involve diverse technology areas relating to infectious disease, human performance, and injury prevention. Candidate must be able to work across biomedical disciplines and project roles - developing a general understanding of the importance and impact each technology area has on the overall objectives. This position requires a good communicator willing to connect programmatic and technical teams together and track program goals ensuring on time deliverables.
In addition to program management responsibilities, this role will help the customer update stakeholders via technical and programmatic briefings. The candidate must understand how government acquires, develops and integrates biotechnologies into existing and new programs. An ability to work across stakeholder interest to keep the program moving forward technically will be critical to the success of this role.
This role is based at in Huntsville, AL area and has limited travel.
