Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Biomedical Technician, you will be a specialized expert, ensuring the optimal performance and safety of critical medical instrumentation.

Every day, you will perform preventive maintenance on complex medical devices, manage installations, and execute all related repairs and maintenance under the Biomedical Program Manager's supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will apply strong technical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills to support our healthcare operations.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of personal/departmental role in the Safety Management/Emergency Preparedness Plans: Takes appropriate safety precautions in performing job function. Uses Personal protective equipment, as required. Describes procedure for reporting industrial illness/injury and hazardous conditions. Understands/complies with incident/variance reporting and notification requirements.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of personal/departmental role in the Life Safety Plan: Verbalizes procedure for reporting and responding to a fire in the facility. Participates appropriately in fire drills/disaster drills.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of personal/departmental role in the Security Management Plan: Understands procedure for responding to an infant abduction. Wears ID badge at all times.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of personal/departmental role in the Hazardous Materials Management/Communication Plan: Takes appropriate precautions in handling hazardous materials. Demonstrates proper medical waste management practices. Demonstrates ability to locate and access MSDS.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of personal/departmental role in the Medical Equipment Management Plan: Verbalizes procedure for reporting equipment malfunction.
Job Requirements
Required
  • High School Graduate
  • Should have experience in the repair of complex medical instrumentation.
  • Experience should be broad based and not less than four years
  • Fire Safety, within 90 Days
