Qualifications

• Three years related experience.
• Preferred: Certification as Biomedical Equipment Technician.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
• Corrective maintenance at component level as directed.
• Assists in performing clinical and electronic equipment installations and construction of test devices.
• Evaluates clinical equipment per manager's request and ensures proper operation.
• Performs repairs on medical equipment and testing of systems within the department.
• Maintains records of all assigned equipment.
• Performs scheduled inspection and electrical safety testing to ensure code compliance.
