Job Description

As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair and service our Dialysis Machines. You will be part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes your personal and professional growth.

This role covers our Los Angeles, CA area, with on-call pay, mileage reimbursement, and additional travel pay if outside your designated area.

We are seeking a Biomedical Services Specialist to keep our dialysis treatments operational in our clinics. If you enjoy repairing engines or machines, are the go-to person for fixing things, and thrive in a demanding environment, this could be a great fit for you.

Qualifications

• Mechanical abilities, repairs, electronics knowledge, and diagnostics experience preferred. We will train and certify the right candidate.
• Excellent communication skills—our teammates communicate openly and honestly.
• Tech-savvy with troubleshooting skills.
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet navigation, and DaVita-specific applications. Training will be provided.
• Availability for on-call rotations as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma (GED) required at onboarding.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record.
• Close proximity to clinics and hospitals in the area for emergency response.

Additional Information

Salary/Wage Range: $30.00 - $36.50/hour
