Job summary

Partners in Digital Health seeks a skilled administrator for RTLS and medical device integration. You will implement and support the RTLS system and ensure interoperability with EMR, PACs, and related information systems.

The role requires collaboration with IT and Biomedical Engineering, and effective guidance to clinical teams. Responsibilities include system design, maintenance, and acting as a technical advisor for device integration while documenting procedures and supporting cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent training required.
• Experience with RTLS or medical device integration is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking for medical devices and interoperability.

Responsibilities

• Supports RTLS design, implementation and maintenance (physical and digital).
• Acts as primary RTLS champion, guiding clinical teams on system capabilities and adoption.
• Interacts with clinical staff to ensure needs are met.
• Documents inspections, repairs, adjustments on equipment.
• Liaises with manufacturer representatives for technical information.
• Backups Biomed Integration Analyst and Biomed Cybersecurity Analyst.
• Collaborates with IT and Biomedical Engineering on integration procedures.

Job description

This position has a primary focus on the RTLS system.

Functions as the Administrator and technical advisor for the implementation and integration of medical equipment and associated information systems including EMR, PACs, MUSE, etc., as well as the RTLS system. Demonstrates knowledge of installation, maintenance, modification, construction of highly complex networked and EMR integrated medical devices or systems. Has extensive knowledge of Networking, and best practice for Medical Device Integration to be applied to all new and upgraded medical devices and systems. Works with ProHealth Care's IT department to ensure and maintain interoperability among medical equipment and connected information systems. Works with IT and Biomedical Engineering staff related to medical devices integration process and procedures. Advanced knowledge of analysis and reporting tools.

• Supports the RTLS system including design, implementation and maintenance of the system (both physical and digital).
• Acts as the primary RTLS champion, guiding clinical teams in understanding system capabilities, optimizing workflows, and confidently addressing questions or barriers to adoption.
• Interacts with clinical staff on a regular basis to ensure needs are being met.
• Documents and maintains accurate records of all inspections, repairs, adjustments, etc. performed on all equipment.
• Interacts with manufacturer's representatives to obtain the necessary technical product information.
• Backup to the Biomed Integration Analyst (Clinical Devices) and the Biomed Cybersecurity Analyst.
