Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Project Engineer, Biologics to lead engineering for biomaterials lines, from concept to post-market monitoring. You will work on stem cell-based therapies, allograft tissue, and synthetic scaffolds, ensuring design verification and validation compliance.

Responsibilities include creating DHFs, gathering surgeon feedback, and coordinating with QA/regulatory teams to ensure timely, compliant product introductions and ongoing monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • BS in a scientific field with 3 years' experience; MS/PhD preferred.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to write test procedures, summaries, reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex issues clearly.
  • Willingness to travel 10–15% and attend surgeries or labs.
  • Comply with company policies, regulatory standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop biomaterials for orthopedic and therapeutic applications.
  • Design verification and validation activities to meet specs.
  • Collect market feedback from surgeons to refine product design.
  • Create and maintain project plans and DHF for each project.
  • Ensure timely, compliant project execution within the quality system.
