DTE Energy in Stockton, CA is hiring for a Plant Operations Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient operation of our biomass-fired generation plant. You will supervise the operations team, ensure compliance with environmental permits, and drive performance improvements in reliability, safety, and cost control.

Applicants should have substantial supervisory experience in solid fuel plants, and a background in maintenance coordination, budgeting, and working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 6+ years supervisory experience in a solid fuel fired power plant.
• Preferred AS degree or certificate in a related discipline with 4+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years supervisory experience in a solid fuel fired power plant.

Responsabilités

• Directs plant operations and staff to meet safety and environmental standards.
• Develops and manages operating philosophies to maximize availability and efficiency.
• Maintains training and adherence to procedures and policies.
• Oversees fuel yard and biomass fuel quality and supplier relations.
• Prepares operation reports and budgets for the department.
