Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC is seeking a laboratory-based scientist to execute experiments and analyze data in support of reagent and assay development projects with limited supervision. This role emphasizes biomarker measurements and advancing technology in a laboratory setting.

The position requires a Bachelor's in life sciences; a Master’s degree is preferred, with at least two years of hands-on lab experience or one year on the MSD platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years hands-on laboratory experience or one year hands-on experience with the MSD platform.
• Experience with running antibody-based assays and reagent development is desired.
• BSL-2 training and experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments with limited guidance using established protocols.
• Troubleshoot experiments and report issues with proposed solutions.
• Analyze data using spreadsheets and graphing software; prepare reports or presentations.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, and equipment; manage electronic inventory list database.
• Monitor and report on the infrastructure of a lab or functional area as needed.
• Duties may vary depending on departmental requirements.
