In this hands-on role, you will perform precise nucleic acid extractions, qPCR and dPCR assays, and manage biological cultures under strict containment.

You will maintain rigorous lab records, optimize procedures, and support publication-ready research by generating reliable data and ensuring pristine laboratory conditions.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience at GS-8 level in molecular biology lab.
• Experience with aseptic technique and contamination control.
• Experience with nucleic acid quantification assays (qPCR, dPCR).

Responsibilities

• Perform nucleic acid extractions and quantification assays (qPCR, dPCR).
• Cultivate and maintain mammalian, viral, or bacterial cultures.
• Manage complex biological inventories and ensure contamination control.
• Document procedures and contribute to reports and publications.
